Bradbush

Ian & Barbara Neale are your hosts at Bradbush on Darnaway, just outside Forres. They look forward to welcoming you to their home, which they run as a traditional and comfortable fishing lodge close to the banks of the River Findhorn. They both enjoy meeting new people and assure their guests have an enjoyable stay.

Bradbush is an attractive country house built in the late 1800's and is of traditional sandstone construction. The house has recently been fully refurbished and tastefully decorated throughout with a fine blend of antique and modern furniture with a traditional Scottish touch. Bradbush offers comfortable accommodation with three spacious double/twin bedrooms and bathrooms/shower rooms. On the ground floor there is the main sitting room and dining room, which are both comfortable, welcoming and with good open fireplaces and fine views over the gardens. Adjoining the back of the house there is a large conservatory, which overlooks the rear garden and woodlands beyond.

Bradbush is situated most attractively in its own glorious gardens surrounded by mixed woodlands and totally secluded off the beaten track close to the Darnaway forest. Bradbush is just three miles from the River Findhorn at Daltullich Bridge and is therefore, located within easy access to all of the main Lower and Middle Findhorn River Beats.

Bradbush caters for all fishing clients and is available to guests for Bed & Breakfast for overnight and short stays. Evening meals and picnic lunches can be also arranged. However, if you prefer to go and explore the area, then there are some excellent local restaurants and pubs nearby in Forres and Findhorn. If you are looking for a relaxed atmosphere after a day’s fishing or a peaceful place to retreat and wish to enjoy all that the Highlands and the Moray coast has to offer, Bradbush will gladly accommodate your needs.

For non-fishing partners or wives, Bradbush is the perfect location for riverside and woodland walks, where you may see roe deer, red squirrels, capercaillie, a variety of wild flowers and birdlife. There are magnificent beaches within easy reach along the Moray coast. There are also numerous golf courses from the championship links at Nairn to smaller nine-hole courses within a reasonable distance. The area is without doubt, a fishing and golfing paradise.

Bradbush is just five miles southwest of Forres and thirteen miles east to Elgin. The distance to Inverness City Centre is twenty-two miles and approximately fifteen miles to Inverness Airport.
